Sanja Zivkovic brings her heart and 15 years of international experience working across the private, public and nonprofit sectors to her leadership and program development role at Co-Impact Foundation. As a Senior Advisor of ACT Group responsible for impact investment advisory and education, she has initiated the establishment of Co-Impact Foundation as a vehicle for catalyzing collective impact in Central & Eastern Europe. Sanja’s compassionate approach to people and commitment to developing partnerships are at the center of her work.
Sanja is an international development consultant, accredited educator and mentor. She has developed and implemented numerous programs in the Central & Eastern Europe region in the area of private and financial sector development, specialized finance, and impact-oriented education. Prior to joining ACT Group, Sanja worked as a Consultant in Finance, Competitiveness & Innovation at the World Bank, where she was a representative in Croatia of the World Bank Global Practices Finance & Markets and Trade & Competitiveness, Europe & Central Asia, in the period 2013-2016. Previously, she worked in Investment & Corporate Banking at Erste Bank, in Management Consulting at the International Mergers & Acquisitions Partners SEE, and in Bank Supervision at Croatian National Bank.
Sanja holds a Master of Science degree in Economic Development and a Bachelor of Science degree in Macroeconomics from University of Zagreb, Faculty of Economics. She has completed the Pedagogic-Psychological Education Program at University of Zagreb, Faculty of Teacher Education, and the Professional Coaching-Mentoring Program accredited by Oxford Brookes University and European Mentoring and Coaching Council. Sanja is also the author of Impact Leadership Model and the founder of a nonprofit organization Heartist Center, dedicated to increasing impact of leaders in organizations with social missions through the development of emotional intelligence competencies.
